SHY® rooflights are the perfect fuss-free way to cover your skylight or conservatory
Rooflight blinds can be designed and manufactured at SHY's® specialist site to fit virtually any size, shape, angle or age of window. Utilising a wide choice of blind fabrics, every level of shading, through to full dim-out can be achieved.
SHY® rooflight blinds are used in many commercial installations as well as high-end domestic situations. They are ideal when rooflights or skylights are used to provide much needed light but want to be able to control the amount of light and heat that could cause problems for the building and its occupants.
When combined with SHY's ZIP® channel, the fabric is guided so it always retracts exactly square, every time so can be used on long thin rooflights whilst our fabric tension system (FTS) ensures that wide and/or long blinds operate without sagging or rippling.
Somfy mains powered rooflight blinds
Mains powered rooflight blinds are available up to a maximum of 5m wide x 3.8m drop using SHY's® standard system or up to 5m wide x 6.4m drop using SHY's® FTS tensioning system.
Somfy mains powered rooflight blinds
Battery powered blinds can be made up to a width of 3m and a drop of 2.4m and can be charged by a solar panel. This reduces the need for any additional wiring and is the ideal choice for rooflight and skylights.
